Mise Studio is the data controller for the processing of your personal data in Mise. Contact us via Settings → Report a bug or suggestion, or via the Contact page.
• Account: email address and password (passwords are hashed by our auth provider). • Profile: display name, avatar, bio and preferences (language, unit system, theme). • Content: recipes, ingredients, notes and uploaded images. • Social: friends, groups, sent and received recipes. • Usage: time of last activity (last_active_at) and any bug reports you submit. • Email log: delivery status for transactional mail (e.g. confirmation, password reset).
To provide the service (perform our contract with you), manage your account and authentication, enable sharing between friends and groups, and to improve the app based on bug reports and a legitimate interest in operations and security.
All data is stored within the EU at our cloud provider (Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase). Images are stored in the same region. We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA.
• Lovable AI is used when you import recipes from photos or text (the image/text is sent to the model provider for processing but is not retained after the response). • Our email provider sends transactional mail from notify.misestudio.app. We never sell your data and do not use it for third-party marketing.
You have the right to: • Access – see what data we hold about you. • Rectification – change incorrect data directly in Settings. • Erasure – delete your account and all data via Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This is immediate and permanent. • Data portability – contact us for an export of your recipes. • Object and restrict – contact us to limit processing.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is removed immediately from our databases and image storage. Anonymised audit trails (with no link to you) may be kept for security purposes.
Mise uses no tracking cookies. We only store necessary session data (login) and your display preferences (theme, language) in your browser's local storage.
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to your data is protected by row-level security (RLS) in the database, so only you and people you share with can access your recipes.
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.
