Cookies and local storage

Mise uses no tracking or marketing cookies, no third-party analytics and no ad networks. What we store in your browser is what the service needs to work.

Sign-in — your session is kept in the browser's local storage so you do not have to sign in on every visit.
Side panel — one technical cookie remembers whether the side panel is open or closed (7 days).
Theme and language — your light/dark and language choices are stored locally.
Display choices — units, grams and nutrition mode plus dismissed hints are stored locally per recipe and user.
Cached recipes — recipes you recently opened are cached locally so the app stays fast and works offline.
Security — Cloudflare Turnstile is used at sign-in to stop bots.

You can clear all of this at any time by clearing site data in your browser. You will be signed out, but no recipes are lost.
